Coverage and response
Do you cover my area?
We cover 33 cities across King, Pierce and Thurston counties. The quickest way to find out is to put your ZIP code into the coverage check, which answers straight away. If you are just outside, ask anyway: our footprint is growing and we take jobs outside it case by case.
How fast can you get to my property?
Dispatch in King and Pierce counties is typically under 45 minutes. Counties we have moved into more recently are staffed too, but we confirm availability for your dates when you call rather than quoting a time we might not hit.
Do you work nights, weekends and holidays?
Yes. Dispatch runs around the clock, and same-day cover including nights, weekends and holidays is a normal part of what we do - fire watch in particular almost always starts outside office hours.
Getting started
How soon can guards actually start?
Guards are briefed on your site-specific orders and on post, typically within days, not weeks. Fire watch is the exception and can start the same day, because a building with its fire protection out of service usually cannot wait.
What happens after I request a quote?
Consultation → Site Assessment → Custom Proposal → Deployment → Ongoing Reporting. The consultation and the site assessment cost nothing and carry no obligation, and the proposal you get back is written down: post orders, staffing, schedule and pricing.
What does it cost?
Patrol packages start at $600 per month, which covers one to two passes a night; the final rate depends on the size of the property. Lockups are $25 per lockup, unlocks $5 per unlock. On-site guards, armed or unarmed, are quoted per contract after a site assessment, because the price depends on the hours and the risk. Published rates are on the services page.
Choosing the right cover
Should I have armed or unarmed guards?
Unarmed covers most properties: a visible, professional presence that stops problems starting. Armed is for sites where the risk profile calls for it - cash handling, valuable inventory, or a history of violent incidents. Either way the objective is deterrence, and every armed post starts with a site risk assessment and written post orders. If you are not sure, that is what the free site assessment is for.
What is fire watch, and do I need it?
When a sprinkler system, fire alarm or standpipe goes out of service, the fire code requires a trained person to walk the building on a set interval until it is working again. Until that cover is in place the fire marshal can order the building closed, and an impairment your insurer was never told about can complicate a claim later. If your system is down, you need it. More on how we run it.
Will I know what happened on my property?
Daily activity and incident reports keep you informed, and we adjust coverage as conditions change. Fire watch adds a timestamped written log kept on site for inspection, and mobile patrol passes are logged as they happen rather than summarised afterwards.
Guards and cover
Are your guards licensed and background-checked?
Yes. Every one of our guards holds a current Washington State security guard licence and clears a background check before their first shift, as state licensing requires. Armed guards hold an armed licence and current firearms certification on top of that.
What happens if something gets damaged while you are on site?
We carry liability insurance for the work we do on your property. If our guards damage something, or someone is hurt while we are there, the claim goes to our policy rather than yours.
Already a client
I am already a client. How do I reach you about my property?
Use client services. It reaches the office directly, tagged with your site and what you are asking for, rather than going into the queue with new enquiries - whether you need to report something, add cover for an event, get copies of your patrol reports, or change who we call. Anything happening right now should go to the phone instead: (206) 931-4853 during office hours, or the after-hours dispatch number you were given when your service started.
Can I get copies of the reports for my property?
Yes. Ask through client services with the dates you need. Tell us what it is for as well - an insurance claim, a board meeting or your own records - because it changes what is useful to send.
Still deciding?
The consultation and the site assessment cost nothing and carry no obligation.
Tell us about the property and we will tell you what it actually needs.
